Per Aspera Ad Astra – 2015
‘Per Aspera Ad Astra’. ‘Through Difficulties to the Stars’. Each of these works represents a phase or moment in time in my life. The diversity of the work and use of material communicates a reflection on the path of my life. The works are not planned, only to the extent that I embrace a reflection and begin. I was fascinated at the conclusion of the making of the body of work to feel a flow thru time and my persona and experience through that time. My offering is the offering of change in life experience over time through the difficulties, struggle, finding peace and the circle begins again. To continue in the circle, whatever may come; that is a life well lived.
